3-D Secure is a security solution for online card payments verifying that the customer is the legit cardholder by entering a secret password only known to that person. 3-D Secure, which includes Verified by VISA (VbV), MasterCard SecureCode and JCBs J/Secure, switches much of the liability back to the issuing bank instead of the Merchant.

At Advanced Payments we can offer a full stand alone MPI solution to enable 3-D Secure for Merchant Service Providers and Merchants even if we are not integrated with the acquiring bank itself.

We provide 3-D Secure for free when you apply for a credit card merchant account via us or when you use MotoMerchant.
